It's always there waiting
It’s always there by our side
Dancing, jumping and playing
that innocent child inside
When we lose our sense
they find their place
emerging as a master
they make us their slave
Some say its madness
some term it as an instinct
But whenever it takes over
it always lift our spirit
We try to shut it
saying it is naive
following the code of maturity
and scolding them to behave
We get on with our life
leaving that kid aside
even being responsible adult
it becomes a roller coaster ride
They need us but we miss them more
We feel too old to enjoy this ride alone
Its always there waiting, it's always there by our side
Push the door, give your finger, just go and play with child inside
